In astrology, a conjunction is a major aspect formed when two planets or other chart factors occupy approximately the same degree of the zodiac. Because the factors are closely aligned, their symbolic meanings are often interpreted as blended, intensified, or expressed together. A conjunction is not inherently harmonious or difficult. Its meaning depends on the planets or points involved, their signs and houses, the size of the orb, and how the conjunction fits within the larger chart pattern.
