In astrology, Chart Synthesis is the process of bringing together the many components of a natal chart so they can be understood as parts of one larger pattern. Rather than interpreting signs, planets, houses, aspects, angles, and other chart factors in isolation, synthesis looks for relationships, repeated themes, concentrations, contrasts, and areas of emphasis among them. The goal is not simply to accumulate separate meanings, but to develop a more integrated interpretation in which individual factors are considered in relation to the structure and context of the entire chart.
