A Minor Aspect is an angular relationship between Planets, chart angles, or other factors that is generally considered less prominent than a Major Aspect but can still contribute meaningful detail to astrological interpretation. Commonly used Minor Aspects include the semi-sextile at 30°, semi-square at 45°, sesquiquadrate at 135°, and quincunx at 150°, although the exact list can vary among astrologers and astrological systems. Minor Aspects are often interpreted with tighter orbs than Major Aspects and may be used to identify subtler tensions, adjustments, connections, or patterns within a natal chart. Their significance is usually considered in relation to the chart factors involved, the exactness of the angle, the allowable orb, and the broader pattern of the chart.
