Astrological Quadrant

One of four sections of a natal chart formed by the chart’s principal axes and used to examine broader patterns of planetary distribution and emphasis.

In astrology, an Astrological Quadrant is one of four major sections of a natal chart created by the Ascendant–Descendant and Midheaven–Imum Coeli axes. Each quadrant contains three houses and represents a distinct region of the chart. Astrologers may examine how planets are distributed among the four quadrants to identify broader patterns of concentration, orientation, and emphasis. Quadrant analysis is a structural method and is often considered alongside hemispheres, house groupings, and other forms of chart distribution.
