In astrology, a Dispositor Chain is created by following the rulership relationship from one planet to another. A planet is disposed by the ruler of the zodiac sign it occupies, and that ruling planet may in turn be disposed by another planet. Tracing these relationships can produce a chain that shows how planetary factors are structurally connected within a natal chart. Astrologers may use dispositor chains to identify concentrations of rulership, recurring connections, or planets that occupy especially important positions within the chart’s organizational structure.
