The Elements are one of the primary ways astrology organizes the twelve Zodiac Signs. The four astrological Elements are Fire, Earth, Air, and Water, with three Signs belonging to each Element. Fire is commonly associated with vitality, initiative, and inspiration; Earth with practicality, stability, and material experience; Air with thought, communication, and social exchange; and Water with emotion, sensitivity, and intuitive experience.
