Medical Astrology

A historical and specialized branch of astrology that interprets astrological symbolism in relation to the body, health, illness, constitution, and patterns traditionally associated with physical well-being.

Medical Astrology is a historical branch of astrology that associates planets, zodiac signs, houses, and other chart factors with parts of the body, bodily functions, constitutional tendencies, and themes related to health and illness. Its methods developed within older medical and astrological traditions in which celestial symbolism was sometimes considered alongside diagnosis, treatment timing, or theories of bodily balance. Contemporary practitioners may study Medical Astrology historically or use its symbolism reflectively, but astrological interpretation is not a scientifically established method for diagnosing, preventing, or treating disease. Medical Astrology should never replace examination, diagnosis, treatment, or advice from qualified healthcare professionals.
