It is not a planet or physical celestial body, but an additional mathematical reference point used in some modern astrological approaches. Astrologers may examine the Vertex’s zodiac sign, house placement, and aspects when exploring themes involving relationships, encounters, or experiences that may feel especially significant. The point directly opposite the Vertex is known as the Anti-Vertex.
